About Us:

The Musical Touch was established in 1996 and operated as a music studio which offered music lessons and a variety of music programs for all ages. As the business grew and needed more instructors and classes, the studio expanded and added the music store in 2000 which helped the music scholarship funds tremendously.

The music scholarships and award programs such as Perfect Attendance , the Most Improved award, the Most Achievement award, and the Community Service award was created in 2000 for the purpose of giving cash awards and gift certificates to students who not only study in music but also participate in various musical events such as auditions, competitions, master class, recitals, and volunteering in community events.

Students at TMT can also obtain music scholarships from different organizations such as NGPA(National Guild Piano Audition) sponsored by American College of Musicians in Austin Texas, CAPMT programs sponsored by the California Association of Professional Music Teachers and affiliated with Music Teachers National Association, and TCMC(Tri-Counties Music Competition), sponsored by the Kiwanis of Yuba city Noon Club.

In 2012, The Musical Touch will be sponsoring the Young Musicians Talent Festival, a public event, founded by Mi Hui Eytcheson, owner of the music store, music & art center which will be generating the major scholarship funds. In addition, TMT will be giving another scholarship program, Student Musicianship Contest for students study music at TMT who participated music performance and evaluated from the judges. Winners will be receiving cash, trophy, and certificate.

Our mission is to facilitate the quality of music instructions to all ages of music students in a warm, positive, and encouraging manner. Faculties and staffs at TMT are not only giving to the best of their knowledge to every individual student, but also understand and respect each student as a unique person.
